This moment of inspiration and deeper thinking is brought to you by my blog. Take the weekend to read, ponder and comment on this:

If you could do something that made the world a better place, but knew you would have to die to make it happen.... would you still do it?

Only fair I'm the first to comment since I made the request... yes, I would. I won't lie to you because the whole concept scares the hell out of me, but the whole point to being here, on this planet, is to try and make it a better place, right? What's the point to keep living, if nothing ever changes for the better?

Such a double-edged sword, though.

As long as the change would be a permanent one .... and that it had some kind of effect on everyone .... that's a definite YES!

Well, if it made the world a better place for my little love ones (fat girl you know who they are) i'd be the first to volunteer. I know they'd miss me, but as long as I can see their smiley faces from up above...i'd be all over it

You know it baby.

Even better... I'd give up everything I ever had to make the world a better place. If I had to lose everything (and keep living or die) and I would see positive change in the world... I wouldn't hesitate.

Think Gandhi. Think Mother Teresa. Gave up everthing while still on this plane of existance... that, to mee, is a bigger sacrifice.

Wow! That was a pretty deep post for the weekend.

Hmmm...I found that question much harder than your other readers. I would, if it would directly benefit my children and if it would not then my children would have to be grown. World peace ain't depending on me that's for sure.
